The kibbutz is situated at the top of Har Hilazon in the heart of Galilee and offers, in addition to its breathtaking scenery, a warm family atmosphere with dynamic and varied social activities for leisure and enrichment. Location: Lotem is situated between Misgav and Karmiel and is a 50 minutes drive from Haifa and 35 minutes away from Akko, Nahariya, Safed, Tiberias and Afula.
Number of Families: The village has 52 families with 110 children up to the age of 18 years. The number of families envisaged in the final development planning is 230.
Educational Framework for Children: There is an educational framework for the village and its neighbors for ages 0 to 6 years. This includes children from the age of 2 years up to pre-kindergarten, a multi-age kindergarten, pre-school kindergarten as well as an afternoon activity center between 13:00 to 16:00 that are all active at Lotem.
Youth Activities: Activities for all teenagers are run by a regional youth movement as well as extensive youth activities available at the Misgav community center.
Worth Knowing! Lotem has residential apartments for rent at attractive prices. The location of the village affords easy access to Haifa Bay, the Eastern and Upper Galilee and the Jezre'el Valley.
