There are hundreds of varied industries and businesses in the Misgav Region. Our community benefits from a unique combination of residing in a qualitative rural environment together with intense economic and commercial activity all around. The entire region is in the midst of a development boom in the sphere of commerce. The industrial parks of Taradion and Bar-Lev are characterized by an impressively high level of development, while at the same time paying attention to caring for and nurturing the surrounding environment. The industrial parks are clean areas with a high awareness for preserving the quality of the natural surroundings. Access to other commercial centers is highly accessible with centers in the Kraiyot, Tefen and Nahariya regions all located within a 20 kilometer radius as well as Misgav being only a 40 minutes drive to Haifa and Yokneam.
Employment Information Center
The Employment Information Center was established as a new service by the Regional Council for the benefit of Misgav residents and new arrivals to the region. This forms part of the Council's priority objectives as determined in 2006 and our commitment to expand the Misgav villages and create suitable employment infrastructures.
The center has been set-up to supply data on vacant positions in the Misgav region and in the entire north of Israel for employment seekers and new residents in the region as well as to compile a data base of those seeking employment.
The center will also provide information on the subject of commercial entrepreneurship and the setting-up of independent businesses, studies, educational courses and advanced courses on retraining and career changes.
The Employment Information Center was established, devised and planned by the multi-disciplinary steering committee together with the social services department, the volunteer unit, the strategic planning and data department and the human resources department. All this is managed by the employment coordinator who manages and updates the interactive and accessible website.

M.A.T.I. Business Development Center
The intense commercial and industrial activity in Karmiel and at the settlements in the area has created a wide infrastructure of services supporting industry. These include tutoring services, business liaison and canvassing for funding resources and investors. This is rendered through the services of the M.A.T.I. Business Development Center. M.A.T.I. Lev HaGalil is a public non-profit making association established by the Karmiel Municipality, the Misgav Regional Council, the Jewish Agency, governmental ministries and members of the business community in the region.
M.A.T.I. assists entrepreneurs to professionally and objectively assess the profitability of setting up a business, planning a business, obtaining funding for its foundation and expansion, marketing contacts and business counseling.
