HAR HALUTZ - TOGETHER AND IN HARMONY WITH NATURE!
Join us at Har Halutz, a community village in the central Galilee. Har Halutz is situated at the top of a steep escarpment close to the Tefen Industrial Park. The village was established in 1985 by a core group of families from the United States with affinity to the Reform Judasim movement. Har Halutz offers you an open, warmhearted, pluralistic and multi-age community. The community combines a unique lifestyle with a magnificent vista, pure air and a sense of harmony.
Location: Har Halutz is situated just 10 minutes away from Karmiel and an hour's drive from Haifa.
Number of Families: The village has 75 families with 140 children up to the age of 18 years. The number of families envisaged in the final development planning phase is 300.
Educational Framework for Children: There is an educational infrastructure at Har Halutz and in the neighborhood for children from 0 to 6 years. At the village there is a nursery, toddler's day group, pre-kindergarten and pre-school kindergarten as well as an afternoon activity club for the children.
Youth Activities: The teenagers have a weekly activity program with a trained youth leader as well as activity circles, field trips and a wealth of activities in the afternoons and during vacations.

As a community we enjoy a wide range of social and cultural activities for all the community, activities and lectures for adults, joint celebrations and events during the Jewish and national festivals.
There are also buildings available at Har Halutz for hire as offices and also possibilities for establishing tourism related projects. |
