HARASHIM - LIVING IN THE WOODS!
Join us at Harashim, a community village in the central Galilee. Harashim is situated on the fringes of the Mount Meron Nature Park in a beautiful grove of natural oak trees. The village is named after the Tel-Harashim archaeological site. At Harashim you can really be close to nature and join in with a small but special community with a special empathy to its natural surroundings.
Location: Harashim is 20 minutes drive from Karmiel and an hour's drive from Haifa.

Number of Families: The village has 40 families with 35 children up to the age of 18 years. The number of families envisaged in the final development planning phase is 80.
Educational Framework for Children: There is an educational framework for all our children at Harashim or in the immediate neighborhood. The school children receive their education within the Misgav educational framework that is widely recognized as one of the best in Israel. The regional council is responsible for the transportation of the children from the village to the various schools and regional community center activity circles throughout the day.
Youth Activities: There are youth activities organized by a youth movement as well as the youth activity facilities available at the Misgav community center.
Worth Knowing!
At the center of Harashim there is a natural glade that contains an outdoor multi-sports court. There are great nature trails and observation points close by. The Harashim weather station measures the highest rainfall in Israel. In the winter we enjoy snowy days and in the summer months we don't need any air conditioning! |
