KAMON- HIGH ABOVE THE REST!
Join us at Kamon, a community village in the central Galilee. Kamon lies amidst an expanse of natural woodland at the top of Mount Kamon, 600 meters above sea-level and just 10 kilometers east of Karmiel. There is a magnificent view from the village with the Mediterranean Sea to the west and the Sea of Galilee to the east.
Location: Kamon is situated just 7 minutes drive from Karmiel and 50 minutes drive from Haifa.
Number of Families: The village has 130 families with 210 children up to the age of 18 years. The number of families envisaged in the final development planning phase is 250.
Educational Framework for Children: There is an educational infrastructure for children from 0 to 6 years in a framework that includes a toddler's day nursery, pre-kindergartens and multi-age nursery school as well as an afternoon activity center. The school children study within the framework of the Misgav regional council educational system that is recognized as one of the best in Israel. The council is responsible for transportation of the children to and from Kamon to the schools and to after school enrichment programs at the regional community center.
Youth Activities: The youngsters at Kamon from the 4th to the 12th grades are organized within a youth movement. We also organize a wide variety of social activities during the summer vacation and during the Jewish festivals.

As a community we enjoy a wide range of dynamic social and cultural activities for both children and adults. These activities are organized by the Kamon cultural committee.  Preservation of the natural flora is also maintained within the village itself blending into its natural surroundings.
