MORESHET - A JEWISH QUALITY OF LIFE IN THE CENTRAL GALILEE!
Join us at Moreshet, a religious Zionist community village in the central Galilee. Moreshet, a mere 20 minute drive from the Haifa Bay, offers a warm and supportive community village in a modern-religious and cultural lifestyle throughout the year. The children, youths and adults regularly study Jewish texts and the village has a mutual assistance framework in place. This includes a local charity and benevolence fund and a community welfare committee. There is a religious elementary school at Moreshet for children of the area and, of course, a central synagogue for both Ashkenazi and Sephardic services.
Location: Moreshet is situated just 20 minutes away from Karmiel and a 40 minutes drive from Haifa.
Number of Families: The village has 190 families and 520 children up to the age of 18 years. The number of families envisaged in the final development planning phase is 480.
Educational Framework for Children: There is an educational framework at Moreshet for children catering for toddlers through to the 6th grade. There are day care groups, kindergartens, pre-school kindergartens as well as the "Mamad" - national religious school at the village.
Youth Activities: The children enjoy activities in the "Oz" children's movement and the Bnei Akiva youth movement. There are cultural and leisure activities for all ages within a framework of cultural and religious enrichment for both youths and children. There are also sports and enrichment circles at Moreshet for all ages as well as a wide range of social activities during the summer vacation and during the festivals.
Worth Knowing!
Moreshet has a mikva, sports courts and playgrounds for children. A new and beautiful central synagogue and community center, sports grounds and medical clinic are now currently under construction. The Community Rabbi is Rabbi Yitzchak Cohen, a graduate of the Mercaz HaRav and Ateret Cohanim Yeshivot in Jerusalem.
