RAKEFET - YOUR HOME ON OUR GREEN HILL!
Join us at Rakefet, a community village in the central Galilee. Located at the heart of Misgav on a gentle green covered slope, Rakefet is close to the municipal services that Misgav provides and is just walking distance from centers of education, leisure and health.
Location: Rakefet is situated just 10 minutes drive away from Karmiel, 30 minutes from Akko and a 40 minutes drive to Haifa, Safed and the Sea of Galilee.
Number of Families: The village has 160 families with 307 children up to the age of 18 years. The number of families envisaged in the final development planning phase is 350.
Educational Framework for Children: There is an education infrastructure for children from 0 to 6 years at the village: a toddler day group for 1-2 year olds, a pre-kindergarten and nursery school as well as an afternoon club. The elementary school is situated close by at Misgav.
Youth Activities: A youth movement is active at Rakefet for 3rd to 12th grade children and there are also young youth leaders for the 1st to 3rd grades. In addition, we organize extensive social activities for the children during the summer vacation and the festivals.

As a community we enjoy a wide range of social activities. We uphold a traditional lifestyle that has evolved since the establishment of Rakefet and we celebrate the Jewish and national festivals together as well as celebrating family events within the community framework.
