WINTER -AUTUMN
In the Heart of the Galilee there is the annual OLIVE FESTIVAL which takes place in Misgav, Sakhnin and throughout the Western Galilee. The festival coincides with the annual olive harvest. For thousands of years, the Land of Israel has produced a bounteous crop of olives, grapes and wheat. The olive branch has become a symbol of peace and brotherhood between nations. The Western Galilee is renowned as the foremost area of olive production in Israel. Its landscape is typified by hills full of olive trees, some of which are hundreds of years old. You are invited to wander through the olive groves, participate in the olive harvest and to enjoy every moment of your visit to the Galilee.
