Elementary School "Misgav"

 

This spacious and beautiful school includes many open spaces and play areas.  The building is surrounded by fauna and flora adding to the tranquil setting. Pupils attending this school come from the following communities:  Yuvalim; Ya'ad; Atzmon; Shorashim; Rakefet and Eshkhar.  The school teaches life skills by developing the child's ability for self-awareness and learning.  In addition to the two "special education" classes, the "Misgav" school believes in the gradual integration of children with special needs with many specialized curriculum are developed for these kids.

 

 

  

Elementary School "Har Shechenya"

 

Overlooking a breathtaking landscape and surrounded by trees and flowers, this school accepts children from the following communities; Shechenya; Avtalyon; Yodfat; Hararit and Mitzpe Aviv.  The educators at the school believe that the individual child developing his/her unique characteristics in a nurturing surrounding will enjoy studying and will be open to their peers. The school also believes in developing the cognitive skills ( I.Q.) together with the social and emotional qualities ( E.Q.) of each and every child.

 

 

 

 Elementary School "Har Gilon"

 

This school is spread out over a large area with ample outdoor space and recreation areas.  Children from the following communities attend this school: Zurit; Gilon; Tal-El; Har Halutz; Harashim; Tuval; Lavon; Pelech; Kamun and Mikhmanim.  The educational team has developed study curriculum based on the Multiple Intelligences ( M.I.) theory

founded by Professor Howard Gardner. Each pupil has many distinct ways in which to learn any particular school subject.

 

 

   

Elementary School, Modern-Orthodox, "Moreshet"

 

The new school at Moreshet is housed in a warm and family-orientated environment.  The school accepts children from the communities of Moreshet and Eshkhar and for all those interested in studying in a modern-religious setting.  The educational program at the school is based on advanced Torah and Judaic studies, as well as a unique environmental program called "from the sources to the source".  In addition, there are arts and crafts classes within the regular study framework.

 

 

   

The Misgav High School - ages 13-18

 

This school is divided in two groups; the middle school and high school and incorporates pupils from all of Misgav's Jewish communities.  The campus includes spacious outdoor areas and the curriculum is varied so that every pupil can find their niche. The school has, for the third year in a row, retained second place in the country for the highest numbers of students successfully completing the matriculation examinations.

 

 

  

 

Specialized Schools

 

 

The "Golden Education" School, grades 1-9

 

This unique school is located in Ma'ale Zviya and accepts kids from all of the Misgav communities. As they will become the future leaders in the 21st century,  this unique program cultivates the child's individual potential in order to maximize his/her achievements through a natural and nurturing process connecting them to mankind and the cosmos.  This is done in tandem with his/her attaining educational excellence and a high application of skills as they grow into their teenage years.

 

 

  

The "Galil" Jewish/Arab Bi-Lingual School, grades 1-7

 

This one-of-a-kind setting invites pupils from al of Misgav's communities together with children from the neighboring Arab communities of Shaab and Sachnin.  This is an ideological school based on the principals of equality and co-existence creating an environment of bridge-building and co-operation between Jewish and Arab families living together in the region.

 

 

 

   

Anthroposophy Waldorf School -"Oded"- a unique environment for growth

 

The Waldorf educating methodology is based on the educational and psychological teachings of Rudolph Steiner.  This concept sees the child as a developing entity, and particularly during his/her younger years.  The Waldorf school is first and foremost based on educating each and every school subject through the arts.
