| The "Har Kamana" Elementary School
The school has an intake of students from the villages of Kamana, Husniya and Arab-El-Naim and lies close to Kamana. The school is a source of pride for its teachers, parents and the entire community. Here emphasis is placed on advancement and personal development by the professional staff and also the students themselves. The school educates towards coexistence, acceptance of others and mutual respect. It also supports and encourages active involvement by the community and especially the parents of the schoolchildren.
The Salameh Elementary School
The school has an intake of students from the Wadi Salameh, East Husniya, Ras el-Ayin and Hamdoun villages. The school owes its raison d'être to a study supportive environment that enables each student to advance according to his or her abilities. The school sees itself as an integral part of Bedouin society and as a central element in shaping its identity. The school places emphasis on creating an ongoing link between the home and the school as it believes that this is advantageous to both of them. The Salameh elementary school runs a program for the preservation of nature and the environment.
Ort Comprehensive High School at Wadi Salameh (7th - 12th grades)
The school absorbs students from the Salameh, Ras el-Ayin, Kamana, Husniya and Arab-El-Naim villages. The schools educates towards advancement of students while tailoring studies to the character of the population and its needs. It is active in increasing the number of students who volunteer within the Ort youth framework for the benefit of the community. The students are able to select from the various occupational disciplines and courses of study such as physics, computers, accountancy, social sciences, environmental studies, tourism and nutrition.
Emphasis is place on education towards Bedouin heritage and building a cultural focal point at the school that initiates gatherings between Jewish and Arab students. In 2007 the school participated in a competition organized by the teachers organization on the subject of multi-cultural and coexistence activities and was subsequently awarded with the first prize.
